This week we have been exploring the newly updated DJI Terra and are very pleased with the results!
Here is a data set from a Phantom 4 RTK flying a 3D flight grid with a 1cm GSD.
Notice the clarity and definition on the Hydro lines.
This level of definition is only typically found within Lidar datasets, as point clouds generated through photogrammetry have difficulty with thin structures.
However, Terra had no issue identifying them here!
It is encouraging to see this Photogrammetry solution producing similar results to Lidar for a fraction of the price.
